Heuchera villosa 'Midnight Rose'
Coral Bells
This spectacular variety of Heuchera emerges with spring boasting near black foliage speckled with hot pink flecks. As the summer heat intensifies, Midnight Rose's dark foliage lightens to a maroon-purple and the spots take on a lighter hue. Sprays of fairly insignificant white flowers appear in late spring. Also known as coral bells, Heuchera v. 'Midnight Rose', along with many other Heuchera varieties, is becoming increasingly popular in container gardens.
Additional:
Heuchera can be grown under Black Walnut trees.
