Plantain Lily

The dark green leaves of Hosta 'Albopicta' have bright creme centers that eventually fade to soft green with the coming of early summer. Full shade will help keep the margins more distinct. A wonderfully growing Hosta, also known as Plantain Lily or Funkia, with white to pale lavender bell-shaped flowers. 'Albopicta' has been well regarded and widely grown for over 100 years, largely because of its handsome leaves, large size, and toughness.
