Hosta seiboldiana 'Bressingham Blue'

Plantain Lily

'Bressingham Blue' Hosta, or Plantain Lily, offers huge, cupped, powdery blue leaves with a puckered appearance and heavy substance. Near-white bell-shaped flowers appear on tall stems above the foliage in July. More shade retains the blue leaves longer into the season. Outstanding accent in the shade garden.

Additional:

The genus name Hosta is after the Austrian physician & botanist Nicholas Host (1761-1834).
