'Caesar's Brother' has rich deep violet-purple flowers, blooming profusely in early to mid spring. This Siberian Iris variety has beardless flowers with narrow grassy upright foliage that remains beautiful until frost. 'Caesar's Brother' prefers slightly acidic soils, and moist or boggy conditions but will also tolerate a poor, dry soil because its thick roots penetrate the soil deeply. Siberian Iris look most impressive when planted in masses.
