Salvia nemorosa 'Pink Friesland'
Sage
Salvia nemorosa 'Pink Friesland' offers a new look for an old time favorite with its pinkish-red flower spikes all summer long. This vigorous but tame, compact perennial bears upright spikes of dark pink flowers that appear in early summer and will rebloom if deadheaded. The plentiful blooms appear over crinkly, slightly aromatic green leaves. Pink Friesland's flowers are highly attractive to bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.
Sage Growing and Maintenance Tips:
Easily grown in average, dry to medium, well-drained soil in full sun. Tolerates drought. Remove spent flower spikes to help extend the bloom period.
