Achillea taygetea 'Moonshine'
Yarrow
'Moonshine' Yarrow offers some of the best of the achillea hybrids' characteristic blue-gray, aromatic, fern-like foliage enhanced with silver highlights. In summer, bright yellow flower heads combine effortlessly in formal or naturalized landscape settings. Easy to grow.
Additional:
Like other achillea hybrids, 'Moonshine' flowers from summer to early fall. The flat flower clusters are irresistible to butterflies. Excellent fresh cut flowers or dried. Tolerant of drought and heat.
Yarrow Growing and Maintenance Tips:
Deadhead and cut back to promote continuous flowering and a tidy plant. Can be divided in spring or fall. Leave any fresh fall foliage to overwinter. Grows well in almost any soil type including sandy but prefers well-drained, sunny sites. Spreads to fill in, so give them room.
