Coreopsis auriculata 'Zamphir'
Tickseed
'Zamphir' offers unique quilled petals that resemble tiny trumpets flaring out from the daisy-like center. It forms a low mound of small, rounded green leaves, bearing upright stems of golden-orange flowers beginning in early summer. Blooming continues for many weeks if faded flowers are removed. Try mass-planting for impact! This native mouse-ear coreopsis can also be commonly seen spelled 'Zamfir'.
Tickseed Growing and Maintenance Tips:
Does not tolerate drought conditions as well as other coreopsis, keep watered in long dry seasons.
