Groundcovers

Green Gate Farms groundcovers are ultimate problem solvers! Chosen correctly, groundcovers reduce maintenance, increase aesthetics, define spaces, and lessen erosion. Groundcovers are mostly selected as landscape amendments, like under trees and shrubs or to frame entries or walkways. But, many groundcovers thrive as the feature planting in green roofs, green walls and related environmental plantings.

If you are familiar with plant names and know what species you're seeking, browse our complete list of available plant species listed alphabetically by botanical or common name.

Not sure? Use Green Gate Farms' handy plant search tool to find the best species for your project. Create short species lists using one or more characteristics or categories to find groundcovers that have specific color or height, or are sun-loving, salt-tolerant or perfect for dry installations, including green roofs.
If the species you want is not listed, or displays as "out of stock" send us an e-mail or give us a call. We'll let you know projected availability, or discuss contract growing the plants you need.

Please note: We are currently working to engage an "Add to Shopping Cart" feature to this site. We know how important this is and how helpful it will be. We are also very excited about the progress being made and are appreciative of your patience. In the meantime, please email us with any orders you wish placed.
