Cranesbill

Geranium sanguineum 'Max Frei' is a free-flowering cranesbill with a compact mounding habit. This shorter variety forms a low mound of fine-textured green foliage, bearing a nice display of bright magenta-pink flowers in late spring and well into the summer. Foliage often turns attractive shades of red in autumn. One of the best choices for massed plantings, filling in quickly to create a bushy groundcover.
