Ligularia 'Osiris Cafe Noir' is a bold-leaved specimen perennial that forms a mid-sized mound of large, jagged-edged leaves that emerge deep black-purple, aging to bronze shades and eventually to olive green. Golden yellow daisy flowers arise in mid- to late summer on slender 20-inch stems signal to butterflies to visit, deer generally leave this plant alone. Superb for the middle of the border, in containers or at the waterside.
