Phlox paniculata 'Red Flame' is a dwarf series that has large heads of fragrant red flowers with a deeper red eye. Strong stems have excellent branching and are mildew resistant. Very attractive to hummingbirds.

Dwarf Garden Phlox Growing and Maintenance Tips:
Grow in moderately fertile, medium moisture, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. Best in full sun. Prefers rich, moist, organic soils. Needs good air circulation (space well and thin out stems as needed). Intolerant of drought and needs to be watered in dry spells, but avoid overhead watering.
