'Dragon's Blood' sedum is a fast-growing ground cover that emerges with red succulent leaves, then turns to dark green with a purplish tinge and continues into late summer in a shade of red! Bright pink, star shaped clusters of flowers are a wonderful addition to this already interesting plant. Very attractive to pollinators, including honeybees. 'Dragon's Blood' stonecrop is best planted at the front of borders or along retaining walls.

'Dragon's Blood' sedum is a tough plant that spreads readily but is easily contained by pulling up new branches that have rooted or pruning them before they root. It thrives in full sun to partial sun on well-drained soil.
