Ajuga reptans 'Elmblut' is a ground cover made for shady gardens! Ajuga 'Elmblut' thrives on the wooded edge, in underplanting, or in other semi-shady to shady places. This groundcover does not need much sunlight to produce intense blue flowers from April to June above ebony-colored leaves.


After flowering, Ajuga can be mowed to grow even more densely.
