Also known as lily turf or monkey grass, Liriope is a grass-like evergreen perennial originating from the forests of eastern Asia. Its dark green leaves are long and narrow and grow in compact, fountain-like clumps. The blooms of 'Royal Purple' are taller and showier than most. Lirope is a great choice for edging a bed or pathway, and perfect for under trees. Plants will grow in full sun to almost full shade and have good tolerance for heat, humidity and drought!
